What a useful AI audit includes

A useful audit does not start with a list of AI tools. It starts with the real work: how a request arrives, who handles it, where information gets copied by hand, and what happens when something does not match. If we miss that path, automation only moves errors faster.

What we review

We begin with one concrete workflow and the person who knows it. That might be lead follow-up, invoicing, documents, or reporting. Real examples, approximate volumes, and exceptions that need a human decision are useful. We also look at the systems and data involved, who has access, and which decisions an automation should never make on its own.

Your data does not need to be perfect. A data or permission gap is a useful finding: it changes what can be built and in what order.

What you receive in writing

1. A workflow and bottleneck map. It shows what happens today, where work piles up, and what depends on a person or tool.
2. Up to three prioritized opportunities. Each includes the expected benefit, the estimate we can support, and its assumptions. If there is no sound basis for a number, we say so.
3. An action plan. It covers proposed scope, dependencies, risks, and next steps. The document is yours even if you use another team or decide not to build yet.

The recommendation may be to improve a process before adding AI. That is a valid audit outcome too.

What determines the price

One workflow with accessible data takes a different analysis from several teams, disconnected systems, or compliance rules. We define which process the audit covers, what information is available, and who will participate. We then agree on the scope and price before the work begins.

If you decide to build afterward, we prepare a separate implementation proposal. The audit plan identifies what to validate first; an early estimate is neither a return guarantee nor a binding software quote.
